Ramadan Umrah: Planning the Last Ten Nights

October 5, 2026

An Umrah in Ramadan is equal in reward to a Hajj, as mentioned in the hadith. The last ten nights, including Laylat al-Qadr, are the most special — and the busiest.

Book early

Hotels near the Haram fill up 3–6 months before Ramadan. Flights also become expensive, so lock in your package early.

Daily rhythm

  • Suhoor in the hotel, Fajr in the Haram, rest in the morning.
  • Iftar on the Haram floors — dates and Zamzam are shared by everyone.
  • Taraweeh and Qiyam late into the night.

Tips

  • Reach the Haram very early for prayers — gates close when full.
  • Keep your energy for the last ten nights.
  • A hotel within walking distance makes a huge difference.
